D-Quadruple LMS is product which is exclusive for schools and colleges who want to conduct online examination for their students.
Purpose:The purpose of D4LMS(Leanring Management System) is to test the student in the subjects and thetopic they have studied for the week. It will be conducted as per requirement over the internetin the form of a web-based application. The student should be able to take the test on
their phone if required.
Intended Audience:Our product D4LMS is intended for the product development team including the projectmanagers, developers and testers.
Scope:Product will provide means to access the web application to students -the end users,
to school administrators to see information about their students, to superadministrators to add and manage information about schools, administrators andstudents.
Overall Description of D-Quadruple LMS:
User needs: There will be three classes of users.
1. Students – the end users
2. Faculty – They will add questions to the question bank depending on the subject
assigned to them. Faculty be able to see the performance of any student.
3. Manger – He/she will add students to the DB and mange student account, will be
able to download the list of absentees for a particular examination. Manager will
be able to view the performance of each student. Compare the performance of
the students of a particular section or class or the school or the city and state.
Manager should be able create the examination for each grade and assign the
test to the target group of students.
4. Super Administrators – will be able to create faculty and Managers for the OE
and have all the rights of manager and faculty.
Assumptions and Dependencies: We deployed D4LMS application on cloud servers and all the avialbility features that are offered by Cloud provider will inerit our product as well. The web application will be stable and available 99.9% of the time.
System Features and Requirements
Super administrators (SA):
SA Should be able to login
First SA account should be created from the back end
SA should be able to create/update/disable other SA accounts. SA accounts may not
be deleted.
SA should be able to add schools and their information into the system
SA should be able to create/update/disable student, faculty and manager. A school
administrator may not be deleted.
SA should be presented with a dashboard upon login. The dashboard will show
summary information of the number of students, number of faculty and the
associated subject and the mangers.
SA should be able to view a school’s details with regards to its branches and the
students and drill down to students’ course work. This should be like drilling down
for details and coming back up to dashboard.
SA should be able to reset password for an admin. A new password should be
automatically generated.

Students:
Student will be able to login with the credentials provided by the manger.
Students will not be able to enroll or register by themselves.
Student should be able recover the password if required using OTP or email.
Students should be presented with a landing page upon successful login
Student Dashboard
Student will find the following links in his/her dashboard

- Online Examination
- Analysis
- Change password

Student Profile: student will be able to see his name, username, mobile number,email ID. Student will be able to upload the profile picture, edit email ID only.
Notice Board: Student will be able to see the notice board with the latest notice onthe top along with the date.
Online Examination: The page to display the number of OEs conducted for the class.
Student will be able to see the list of examinations held till date, with the latest OEon the top. For the active test he/she will be able to see the start time and end timeof the test. Along with the list of displayed OEs student should be able see if the OEwas present and if present the marks obtained in that particular OE. This pagewill also display the test link.When the student Starts the test, he/she will be able to see the Instructions page.
Once the student is on the test page it will display the questions options and also an
option to move to question of their choose and subject
A timer is display very prominently showing the time left for the OE to end.5 mins before the schedule cutoff time, a pop to appear prompting the student thetime left for the OE to end.
If a student tries to minimize the OE window or open any other window while OE isgoing on. An alert or warning to pop up if it repeats for the three times theexamination should be closed and invalid. An SMS and email to be sent to theparent, faculty, school principal and the admin that the student by name _________Bearing Roll No ________ Class ____ his/her examination is madenvalid.If the students submit the OE before the end time, a pop up to make sure he/shewants to submit the OE.If student exceeds the time beyond the stipulated time OE should submitautomatically. Once the student submits the test, the link in the OE will be disabled.After successful submission, the OE to display the followingName of the OE, Class, Date of OE, start time, end time, number marks student gotsubject wise. The page also to display the time taken for each question and theoption the student has selected. This complete information should be madeavailable for the student to download the pdf file. It should not display if a particularquestion is correct or incorrect.

The detailed analysis and the solution for each question to be displayed next day or as per requriement. The analysis will calculate the highest and the lowest for each subject and display
the rank for each for each student.
